“Do You Have the Support of the People You Lead?”

Have you ever wondered how some leaders seem to have a support staff that enthusiastically supports them, while your staff seems to begrudgingly support you? Have you also considered how some leaders seem to have the ability to motivate employees, even volunteers, to do what they ask while you seem to usually get negative attitudes when you request a simple task to be completed?

Although you have tried many things to gain the support of your staff and apply team-building strategies, why not find out first hand from other leaders what has worked for them. We will briefly review some of the following basics:

  • How to build a winning support team
  • How to select staff that will support your vision
  • How to discipline team members while keeping team motivation high
  • How to maintain high levels of team moral even when the organization is not giving out salary increases.

Speak directly with individuals from various backgrounds. Learn from their success stories, as well as their pitfalls, as they developed support teams that enthusiastically follow them.

This year’s inspiration speaker will briefly reflect on the scripture listed below and say a prayer to set the stage for the day’s powerful agenda. One of the goals of our inspiration speaker is to encourage today’s workplace leaders and pastors to forge partnerships to build wealth, power and a good success.

Psalms 1-41; Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers
